Welcome To The New Real School Police

My newest blog, since I have more time on my hands now!!!

The Godley Files

The complete P.O.S.T record of Bob Godley. The former cop that thinks the whole county owes him an apology for his bad behavior.

There is a new blogger in town, who is also upset with this school system. Thank you Paul for standing up for what is right, and not backing down to the ESTABLISHMENT.

Plagarism 101

Don't be fooled these are fake. I received this post prior to opening this letter last night. The post was:
said the sheriff is highly pissed with the "Whispers" news letter and he is going to conterfiet one and send out himself. I guess we should look for this one to praise the sheriff and feel sorry for him that someone would expose him. She said they were doctoring it up to look like "Whispers" was doing a retake and saying some things were not true. We'll wait and see.

So here it is :

This is just pathetic, just like

Anonymous said...

sounds like hes trying to blame one of his old cronies for his problems. He just ought to go look in a mirror and see who really is the problem

Wiglaf said...

Looks like something Mr. Rogers might craft. I belive it's the same folks from the first two trying to throw us off track. Seems genuine to me.

How low will Bill Smith go??? I hope he spends the rest of his life in jail, if the GBI, or FBI ever gets off their asses and busts him.

Bob said...

This is just pathetic.....You would think that the sheriff and his staff could come up with something a little more "real"..
Just goes to show that there are nothing but LOSERS in his flock.

I applaud your decision to publish this garbage. It just gives the public one more insight into the kind of human debris that has apparently taken over what is ostensibly OUR Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Regarding your notation in the margin next to "Yes, Virginia, you can trust the media," I'm certain that whichever reporter they are trying to intimidate by the obvious threat to reveal infractions in his past - which they have no doubt violated the law to obtain - will be well aware that he is the target.

If it were me, I would come forward, admit it was me, then request an investigation of who obtained the information - but that's just me.

I do not expect Tommy Gregory, or any other potential candidate to comment on this, but I certainly hope that before the next sheriff rescinds "at will" employment, he has the good sense and decency to decimate the ranks of the CCSO so that the remaining decent officers can finally come out of hiding and regain pride in their organization and ALL of the citizenry can have confidence in their county law enforcement.

By the way, if there were any doubt what kind of trash we're dealing with here, the "gayrab" reference to Steve Berry (who, ironically is on his very heterosexual honeymoon in Greece at the moment) is really all you need to see.

You know, when I finished reading this thing, I had a nagging feeling of dejavu.

It just ocurred to me why. How many times have we heard this story before?

Formerly brainwashed disciples of some guru or other come back to their senses, leave the cult, and begin to expose them for what theuy are. What happens? Well, Scientology thugs are fond of putting rattelsnakes in dissident former member's mailboxes. Jim Jones thugs shot up Congressman Ryan's investigating party. I'm sure you folks can recall other examples.

The one thing they all have in common is blind "loyalty" (sound familiar) to their particular, all-powerful guru.

Clearly, BTW has developed a cult following of weak minded bullies of low-to-no moral values. Removing only Smith is clearly not an option. Nor is deprogramming. A thorough weeding of the CCSO is the
only curative remedy.

BTW has bit off a hell of a lot more than he can chew, Hope he likes picking blue berries up the road at the big house

Jay Moreno said...

Well, maybe some blueberries and dumplings from the prison kitchen will ease the withdrawal from store-bought key lime cheesecake.

Anonymous said...

Ok, I will bite. Who is the Old Mill Hand? And who is Mr. Dyal? I did not know that Greece,(Where Mr. Berry is on a honeymoon) was in the Middle East. Maybe Geography Teachers should investigate.

Jay Moreno said...

Who said that Greece was in the Middle East?

The "irony" relates to the first syllable in "gayrab."

Not that I give a damn, but I believe that Mr. Berry's Mediterranean heritage stems from Lebanon.

Jay Moreno said...

Oops!. Sorry. I just re-read that vile piece of crap. Now I see where you were coming from with the question about Greece being in the Middle East.

Jay Moreno said...

Old Timer wrote:

"What was he thinking when he had William Terrell write that?"

I did'nt give that much credence at first.

However, if you go back and read it with an eye towards the diction, the sentence structure, the editing, and the repeated "inside baseball" phraseology from the field of journalism, I now think he may have nailed it - Simper Fido may very well be the author.

Jay Moreno said...

You know, when these thugs imply that American citizen Steve Berry should perhaps be checked out by Homel;and Defense as a possible Arab terrorist, every red-blooded American should feel a strong urge to take an axe handle to somebody.

And they wonder why I call them on their obvious, hereditary, Ku Kluxing tendencies. I can only imagine the words Harry Truman might have had for this vermin.

To Old Timer,
I removed your post because who Bill Smith sleeps with is none of my business. I know it shows character, But a man can sleep with 100 different women and be a good Sheriff, or he can sleep with one and be a bad Sheriff. Either way let's stay away from personal lives. I also got an email from a good source that said atleast some of that was not true, so I removed it. Please feel free to post again but let's stay away from personal attacks. What if one those peoples kids seen that. I am sorry I just think that is wrong.

I don't hate the Sheriff. I believe he has done some wonderfull things, but the other things out weigh the good by a land slide. This is not personal.

Anonymous said...

Just wanted to say, "Thanks for not posting Old Timers message". He has already posted that a couple of times on Topix and each time I read it I was embarassed for those kids. I know one of them and he is grown and married and looks very much like his father and nothing like Bill Smith. I can just imagine how that posting must make that family feel. Posting your thoughts is one thing but posting names is another thing. Please people, hurting kids who do not deserve to be hurt is so wrong. Think before you act.

Yeah, Rick, ditto to what that last member of the huge "Anonymous" clan just said.

Rick, I think you might fimd this interesting.

This morning, I had just gotten comfortable on the old, elevated, disabled throne when my phone rang (no, that's not the interesting part.)

My friend asked if she should answer. I told her to let the answering machine pick it up.

It turned out to be a guy I've spoken to before. He had previously passed on what turned out to be some accurate info on the identity of the 4thebadge guy.

He pointed out something that had previously gone right over my head.
More accurately, I had just dismissed it as one more hapless attempt at some sort of sardonic humor.

Look at the last paragraph of page 2 of the bogus "Whispers" edition put out by BTW's boys ("Care to go on a fishing expidition.").

My anonymous informant said that it had struck him and an attorney friend he ran it by as being a death threat aimed to dissuade perhaps you and me - but for sure me - from submitting any more FOI requests. It only serves to make me more curious as to what is so damning in Officer Mills' record as to warrant defying state law to protect it from disclosure.

On re-reading it, I can see where it could be construed that way, even if incredibly ineptly written for its intended purpose.

Let me just say to the caller that I appreciate his concern and can see his point. However, I'm not really concerned.

I would, however, just like to go on record as saying that my last physical, a few months back, showed that other than the GBS, I'm really remarkably healthy, I'm enjoying life. Should I end up in the county jail, absolutely nothing they could do would induce me to hang myself or harm nyself in any other way. Moreover, I have far better sense than to resist arrest or attempt to escape.

I'll let the voting public judge for themselves whether it is intended as a threat and, if so, what it says about BTW and his rabid supporters.

Jay Moreno said...

And speaking of threats, this is exceedingly rich.

That long dormant "Bill IS Great" blog, or whatever the hell it's called

has beeen revived.

Now, Rick, they are threatening to get mine and your criminal records and publish them. Why do I have the feeling that their requests will be promptly complied with?

It's really beginning to look like the Civil Rights Division of the federal DOJ may eventually have to get involved down here.

Hell, we have home-grown terrorists right here - and they're on the county payroll!

Jay Moreno said...

Oh, and I almost forgot: it seems, Rick, that you and I are at least involved with, if not THE publishers of the original "Whispers."

I would be proud to be one of those brave, public spirited citizens, but I'm not. You?

And by the way, when is volume three coming out?

Jay Moreno said...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There is actually an official, state published handbook regarding FOI request for all police agencies in the state of Georgia.

Here is the actual language relating to requests for copies of performance evaluations and disciplinary records, resepctively, of ANY sworn officer in ANY agency anywhere in Georgia.
To be doubly clear, that does cover Camden, regardless of what you may have heard.

Here it is:

M. Performance evaluations
Performance evaluations are subject to the Act’s disclosure requirements
after redaction of the information cited above.34
N. Peace Officer Standards and Training certification records
Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification records
are subject to the Act's disclosure requirements after redaction of
the information cited above.35 However, the contents of POST applications,
except to the extent they include court proceedings, shall be considered
as confidential and shall be released only to the candidate or
peace officer to whom they pertain or to a law enforcement unit considering
the candidate or peace officer for employment. 48
O. Reprimands/adverse personnel actions
Reprimands and adverse personnel actions are subject to the Act’s disclosure
requirements after redaction of the information cited above.36

Since the CCSO can no longer be trusted. I believe this may have hapened, a boat was stopped on the intercoastal water way. Drugs were found. Skipper was told to throw all of the drugs overboard, and surrender the $75,000 in cash that they found while searching. Money was turned over to Willie, no mention of any money to press. Willie can now give money to whoever and the 3 duputies get a cut. Murrell can get his weekly pay. Commissioners have no say because there has been no seizure of any money reported. Drugs wash ashore next day and is found by college students, although the 3 amigos were looking hard. Pictures taken, good PR for the new boat. Pictures by sheriff's office??? And the dog???? Go figure.

Anonymous said...

And I meant to say the the boat that was stopped goes scott-free, with no record of a stop???

Anonymous said...

Also, the feds get no cut of the money. You see Willie gets to keep it all. You think this is not possible? I didn't think Willie could do half as much as he already has. So this tale is not so far fetched in my mind.

Anonymous said...

Sadly it is not far fetched at all.

Jay Moreno said...

Here's a partial cast of major characters over at the CCSO - complete with photos and bios - which I stumbled across while Googling the misadventures of BTW.

Jay Moreno said...

I just came across this in a pres release from Gov. Perdue's office, dated 23 March 2007. The ocassion was BTW's being appointed as a trustee of the "Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund."

Sheriff William “Bill” E. Smith, 68, Woodbine – Smith is the sheriff of Camden County. He has served as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, an officer in the United States Marine Corps and worked for Gilman Paper Company in St. Marys. He is a member of the Woodbine Lions Club. He served three terms on the Camden County Board of Commissioners. Smith graduated from the Citadel Military College in South Carolina. He has three grown children.

I did not know that he is a former county commissioner.

Okay, so which is it: was he an FBI "special agent," or a fingerprint file clerk?

Did he actually "work" at Gilman, or was that just marking time until his inheritance - the sheriff's office - came due?

Robbie Morgan said...

I have thanked Mr. Rogers but wanted to thank him publicly for removing that comment.

If the person that posted the comment , as "old timer", will give me a call, I would appreciate it. I want to find out where you heard this lie.

He was a County Commissioner and all he did was criticize the Sheriff's Dept. and Sheriff Jimmy Middleton. He watched every penny they spent. Of course there were no Shared Assets then and very few vehicles. Most deputies shared vehicles during that time. In 1984 when it was time for Billy to be Sheriff, Middleton did not run and Billy became Sheriff. After all since his grandfather Blake Smith and his father Willie Smith had been Sheriff, it was only fittin that Billy be Sheriff too.

Just heard that there was a #3 Whispers in Woodbine today, Haven't seen it yet. Where is our free copy, Rick.

As far as the sherriff's dept making threats against them(Bill Smith), I can personally attest that a newspaper reporter was threatened(Gordon Jackson) by Dale Bundy after a trial was over because of the way Gordon reported the truth in the papers. I was standing there when the threat was made!! It sure didn't make the sherriff's dept look too good. As a matter of fact, it made them look downright stupid!!

Jay Moreno said...

Who is Dale Bundy?

Anonymous said...

Dale Bundy has held multiple positions at the sherriffs office. He is the lead investigator.

Anonymous said...

Dale Bundy couldn't investigate his own behind!!

Jay Moreno said...

Oh, yeah, I thought his name sounded familiar.

I saw him do a guest appearance and puff piece on Simper Fido's $6,0000 per year TV-Camden propaganda hour.

Would have made a great character actor specializing in portraying SS and Gestapo officers.

Please Call Judge Williams

Tell her to throw out the plea deal in the Perry case,

And grant him a new fair trial.

From the Blog:

I just spoke with a lady that had called Judge Williams number to ask for Dennis Perry's plea be thrown out and to grant him a new trial. Guess what? As soon as Dennis' name was mentioned, the secretary or whoever she was got very cold and told the lady she would have to send the judge a fax or write her a letter. AND THEN SHE WOULDN'T GIVE HER THE FAX NUMBER!! She was told she would have to write a letter..which the lady has done. Does that tell you there is something wrong with this case? You people in Camden County better wake up and smell the roses before you find yourself in the same position that Dennis is in. He isn't asking to be released. Just for a FAIR trial!!
