Rumor Mill
Rumor has it the F.B.I. is involved in the Smith case. I have heard they are working with the GBI and I also heard they took it away from the GBI. More to come!!!!!!!!!

Over at Topix, someone who works for the sheriff is saying they were told they were going to have to take 2 WEEKS OFF WITHOUT PAY between now and Christmas.
Sure hope this is a rumor ........and not true!

Sad but true according to what Major Walker is telling. They are over budget.
On Mastaroni, I heard that the Judge called Rob and requested all of Chau's records. Rob gave them to the Judge. Smith finds out and sends Rob home in a fit of anger. He is back the next day. Why was Bill so hot? He was going to delay Chua going to the big pen by dragging ass on getting the paper work to the Judge. And you know that some papers were going to be misplaced. After the sheriff cooled, he brought Rob back. Of course the sheriff does not want this out. Proctor was out with his sick child.
Mastaroni is also married to one of Cisco Fairley daughters. He and Wesley are brother in laws. So I believe his job is safe as long as Wesley is in power.
I don't believe any of them jobs are safe, if the Governor would get off his duff and appoint a new Sheriff while this one is being investagated
Well I don't think the Governor will get involved as long as Rep. Hill has his ear. All of the others may turn on BTW, but Hill will be loyal to him until the end.
If Gregory can definitely show people that he is not a Steve Berry puppet, it is possible that he will get elected. I think that is the one thing that is truly a hinderance to his campaign right now.
I know that he has made the statement that he is his own man, but with everyone knowing that his wife worked for Steve, left, went to work in Jax, when she wanted to come back, Steve got her the job as the County Secretary, when she decided that she did not like the atmosphere, Steve rehired her in his law firm. With that much history.......

Isn't that the same reason that the drug dealer spent 2 years in Camden County jail when he should have long since been in state prison(Smith's buddy) ,because of papers conveniently being lost or misplaced in the sherriff's office?
That is exactly correct. The paperwork that must be completed by the sheriff's department has to go with the package to the Dept. of Corrections.
As in the case of the order(s) to
arrest Ben Jenkins, the paperwork was somehow "misplaced" in BTW's bottom desk drawer. (wink, wink)
What ever happen to Gary Addy's sentence and DOC record's. Wille got them expunged, he spent a long time around the jail when he was suppose to go up the road also.
