Sanitizer Vs. Soap

As many of you know soap has been removed from some bathrooms in SMMS. I decide to pull the MSDS sheets (Material Safety Data Sheets) on both sanitizer and soap. I called the school nurse Ms. Anderson and asked her to please send me the MSDS for the brand sanitizer used in the school. I said that if the MSDS is not available, she could just send me the brand name and I would get it. She replied with the brand name. So I can assume that the MSDS was not available. So to the World Wide Web I went. I didn't know OSHA had so many laws. Here is the MSDS sheet from Germx:

So if you read the MSDS you now know that Germx is a class 3 Flammable Liquid, and this product contains ethyl alcohol, a central nervous system target. That last part is very important, if you were at the board meeting you know what I am talking about.

Did you know that 2oz of hand sanitizer equals 4 shots of liquor!!!!

OK here is the one for hand soap. Since I don't know what brand would be used in the school, I used an MSDS from the soap used at the BOE.

I know what brand they use, cause I took a picture of it.

So what are the safety issues with hand soap? None, this stuff is harmless.

So the next time you see a bottle of hand sanitizer on your teachers desk, think GREY GOOSE!!!!!
