I am glad you, Dr. Will, talked about the CDC. Yes, since 2002 the CDC has recommended that HEALTH CARE WORKERS use sanitizers on a routine bases. Dr. Hardin our schools are not hospitals. I would have thought you would know that. The CDC recommends soap and water whenever possible for school age children. If your going to pick out one line off the CDC website, maybe it should pertain to schools. I have talked to four local doctors and one neurologist, who says not using hand soap in ridiculous.

You say hand sanitizer is safe? Do you realize kids are drinking this stuff? Two ounces is equal to four shots of vodka? Do you realize how flammable hand sanitizer is? Dr. Hardin do you have kids? Have you ever gotten crap on your hands? (Highly doubt you can even wipe your own ass) It don't come off with just water. And US (parents) know that middle school kids do get crap on their hands. Hand sanitizers only kill germs, it does not clean. So that crap will be on the kids hands until soap is applied. Now think what that kid touches while he has CRAP on his hands. Would you want this kid walking around the BOE. I didn't think so.
