Was Bob Godley Given A Pass Because He Is A Cop?

It is nice to see the local media break the news that Bob has been in trouble before because of sexual misconduct. But I have been saying this for the last TWO years!

As you can see I was on to this long before anyone else.

But why hasn't Bob ever been charged for his crimes. It seems he just quits and all is forgiven. They say "sexual predators" can't be cured, and I guess some can't be jailed.

Let's look at Bob's work history:

Bullhead City, AZ 1996- a 19-year-old woman accused him of stalking, according to an investigation report by Arizona authorities.

McIntosh County Sheriff's Office 1998 -a guests at a hotel complained he was kissing a woman in the lobby and refused to stop.

Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base 2001 - looking at child pornography on a government computer.

2002-2008-Unknown, past was missing from his personnel file when the St. Marys Police Department ran a background check this year.

2009-fired Sept. 15 for posting inappropriate comments on a Facebook site

Oh and not let's forget the woman that stood up and complained about Bob at the City Council Meeting.

What did she say?

She said that Bob and another officer were harassing some kids, what kind of harassment?

This is what should be happening now!!!

Is there an investigation?

If our ELECTED OFFICIAL would have listened to me and investigated it themselves, we would not be discussing this as Bob would not have been HIRED.

Had this been anyone else, they would be in jail by now!


I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!

Once again I must tell you "I Told You So"!

Dr. Will said that if you don't vote for the ESPLOST we will have to raise your taxes!

"If you don't, We will"
Sounds like he is saying we don't care what you think. If you remember many of us were against the ESPLOST, only because of the economy. I don't think anyone can be against ESPLOST, we were just against the timing. Even Dr. Will said the timing wasn't right. But he went ahead and recommended it to the board. And of course the board didn't question it? The people chosen to represent us, didn't question it.

So now we come to the millage rate. Better know as Taxes!!!!! In this case higher taxes!!!!!

You know that is what is going to happen, they have to, they have no choice at this point, With tax revenues down because of the recession, the same reason ESPLOST will fail, they have to raise taxes! And when ESPLOST fails, and it will fail to raise enough money, who will pay?


Remember they wanted ESPLOST so they wouldn't have to raise your taxes.

and I ain't going believe that old line "no one could have seen this coming!!!!!!!!
