Welcome To The New Real School Police

My newest blog, since I have more time on my hands now!!!

The Godley Files

http://thegodleyfiles.blogspot.com/

The complete P.O.S.T record of Bob Godley. The former cop that thinks the whole county owes him an apology for his bad behavior.

There is a new blogger in town, who is also upset with this school system. Thank you Paul for standing up for what is right, and not backing down to the ESTABLISHMENT.

School System's Overcrowed Buses Puts Student Lives In Jeopardy

My latest email:

Ms. Cox, Members of the Camden County BOE, BOE Employees, and News Media,

I would like to take this opportunity to voice my opinions on issues that affect every student in the school district of Camden County.

Camden County School buses are very overcrowded. Students are forced to sit on the nasty floor; and are seated four students to a seat- intended for only three persons. At Open House, parents were informed buses would be crowded due to high gas prices, but this is ridiculous. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. What if these buses were in a minor fender bender and these kids on the floor got hurt, or even worse. Could you live with that for the rest of your lives? Would you allow your kids to sit on the floor of any bus?
My teenage son told me today that he could not find a seat this morning to sit down in, even though there were four empty seats in the front of the bus, that only a selected few students are permitted to sit in, and they are then sat two to a seat on these selected few seats. Why?
There is also one high school student that rides this bus, and he gets the entire seat to himself. This is happening on morning bus # 73. Also, other parents are complaining of the same things happening on their children’s buses as well.

I understand gas is expensive and cuts need to be made, but if I can find a way to manage things on my small budget, I think this school system should be able to manage on a multi-million dollar budget. Maybe some of the employees at the B.O.E. could take a pay cut, or jobs eliminated.

I would also like an answer as to why so many students fail the Math portion of the C.R.C.T.
I find it impossible to believe that the state and local officials expected a high number of failures in the beginning of the year, as they explained. That answer is a lie. No one ever told parents to expect their children to fail the test that I am aware of. The other answer, that the test was more difficult than the past, is also impossible to believe. 8th grade math, is 8th grade math. If you make it harder, wouldn't it be 9th grade math? Why wasn't our students taught what was on the test?
This letter will be posted on www.schoolpolice.blogspot.com and your comments as well, or the lack there of. But you may want to read what others will have to say on these subjects.

I have many times gotten behind a bus on Hwy 17 where the bus stops at every drive way which are only a few feet away from each other and the yards join. this is a waste of gas by stopping and starting, and aggravating to the driver behind the bus. also when it would be an open road to get pass the bus, you can't. this bus driver hauls ass. she would be up to 70 in no time and I could not get around her where the road 4 lanes. I called in several times last year to complain about her driving but it seems that nothing was done since she is already doing it again this year. This can be proven if you want to go to the north end on Hwy 17 around 4:40 pm and follow her south from Spring Bluff Road.

I still think that Bill Smith looks like E.T. Compare his eyes nose and mouth to a picture of E.T. See what i mean?

Did a great portion of the students fail the CRCT? No one is reporting this. I read in the paper that all of the schools passed the AYP except Crooked River Elementary. Does the AYP have anything to do with the CRCT?

I just spoke with a lady that had called Judge Williams number to ask for Dennis Perry's plea be thrown out and to grant him a new trial. Guess what? As soon as Dennis' name was mentioned, the secretary or whoever she was got very cold and told the lady she would have to send the judge a fax or write her a letter. AND THEN SHE WOULDN'T GIVE HER THE FAX NUMBER!! She was told she would have to write a letter..which the lady has done. Does that tell you there is something wrong with this case? You people in Camden County better wake up and smell the roses before you find yourself in the same position that Dennis is in. He isn't asking to be released. Just for a FAIR trial!!
