Well now looks like the Grand Jury didn't see any wrong doing on Smith part. They even gave him a commendation. Whats going on here.......

When you say the grand jury did nothing, you mean the local grand jury. The sheriff still has to get by the FEDERAL GRAND JURY.

No indictments were sought by the DA with this grand jury. The presentments were merely the regurgitation of the presentation by BTW, Walker, etc to the grand jury of how wonderful the trusty program is for the county. BS.

One of the responsibilities of the Grand Jury is to review sections of the Camden County government like the Sheriff's Department. I haven't seen anywhere where the clean bill of health had anything to do with the DA bringing information to the jury for them to vote on whether there is enough evidence to bring Smith to trial.
Typically the Grand Jury as a group simply rubber stamps the review of a subgroup of 2 or 3 people on the jury who visit the various county offices.

The BTW butt kissers on our state grand jury of Camden County let Smith use them as a vehicle for a very sneaky campaign document disguised as a bona-fide presentment. It was probably written by Simper Fido Terrell and smuggled into the grand jury chambers by one of the kiss-ass jurors.
The grand jury that will put his BTW's sorry ass into the federal penetentiary where he belongs is the FEDERAL GRAND JURY convened in the federal courthouse in Savannah, GA.

Bill Smith has saved this County nothing in all the years he has been in office. The Feds did not watch everything he spent from the Shared Assets Fund, and the figures he gave the grand jury was totally inaccurate. Don't you understand that anyone can come up with a figure out of their head especially if they need help saving their behind. Make him show where these figures came from and prove what he says. Rick has posted many things on this site that were true, especially the page after page of how the Drug money was spent and if you can't read those and determine that something is drastically wrong then you cannot comprehend anything except what you think you know as fact. I was the one that posted and while I wasn't there and didn't serve on this particular Grand Jury, I have served on the Grand Jury in the past and as I said part of what the Grand Jury does is break up into subcommittees and visit the various county offices and make recommendations based on the visit. These are not intense investigative visits, you typically aren't at the county office you are visiting more than an hour or hour and a half.
I didn't see the article everyone is talking about but I would imagine that it wasn't just strictly for the Sheriff's Department and covered other county offices as well. The grand jury puts together a report to cover all the offices that the subcommittees visited.
Bill HAS saved the county plenty of money, and helped plenty of people with school; and drug, alcohol, and life problems. You morons call it "buying votes" when it is actually HELPING PEOPLE, something you morons know nothing about. You fail to look at the BIG picture. Bill has an extensive network of people that have been positively affected by his work in this county. He has helped many people. I truely hate the fact that he has befreinded Cisco in any way, and I have considered that before posting. But, in my many years in this county, the CCSO has been wonderful under his leadership with the exception of the past term. What all has happened I dont really know, but I know that this clown Rick is NOT as accurate as people think he is. It only took me five minutes of reading this blog to figure that out. Nobody in thier right mind is going to give out names to IP addresses to anyone without a court order. They will even question the court order before giving that kind of information. If he will lie about something like that, I have the feeling that he will lie about anything else to make himself look good. Small fish in a big fish pond.

As an IT tech that has had a lot of dealings with ISP's, I can vouche for that. Rick should have known better than to post such childish crap to get to someone who is bothering him. If all the drug money was monitored by the federal government, why the investigation into it? I would think if they kept such close tabs on it..there would be no need for an investigation!!
They busted the commisioners screwing it up pretty quick. That should show you that they keep tabs on it more than people think. There is a visible paper trail everytime some is used. It is not an account that Bill can just tap as he pleases.

I believe he was paid to keep his mouth shut. Do you need someone to lead you by the hand and point these things out to you? Are you that stupid..or do you love Bill Smith that much?
