"The people of this County do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them. The people, in delegating authority, do not give their public servants the right to decide what is good for the people to know and what is not good for them to know. The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created." ***The views expressed on this blog are the opinions of the individual that wrote them.

One would think that Sheriff Smith would be able to read and comprehend ordinances, codes and O.C.G.A rules and regulations. According to a posting by John Q. He is not factual in the advertisement he "paid for" in the Tribune & Georgian. I would love to know if he paid for the ad with a personal check or one from the Sheriff Dept.
I think your blog is doing a wonderful job at seeking righteousness and justice in Camden County. Did you ever receive a response from Harvey Fry? You should also ask him about the prejury concerning the payment of the trusties and the Contractors. Mr. Jenkins said on the stand that he was the one paying all of these people. But Sheriff Smith stated something contradictory in his "paid" ad. (Quote from the Georgia Times Union).
I’ve been out digging political dirt all day today. Here are the newest discoveries:
Doug Miles is longer the Tax Assessor, Charlene Sears spent 45 minutes trying to convince the new guy to lower Big Willies taxes, to no avail. As soon as she went outside she got in the car with Big Willie, then he went in to throw his weight around. The new guy told him he would look into it. Before Big Willie could make it back across the street to his office the new guy informed him that he was responsible for paying the stated amount.
I also heard that State Rep. Cecily Hill is not going to seek re-election. Her family member told someone the heat is to hot in the kitchen. Guess who is contemplating throwing his hat in the State Representative ring. No other than City Councilmember Alex Blount. Camden County better be careful of the
“Blount takeover”.
We currently have Nisi “Blount” Zell acting as a Commissioner. A “Blount” as Assistant Superintendant of the Camden County School System. The infamous St. Marys City Councilman Gary “Blount”. As previously mention Kingsland City Councilman Alex “Blount”. They are all relatives and all are members of the exclusive good ole boy “Cattle Club”. Also known as the Camden Klan Group. Not even Sandy could get an invite to these exclusive member only meetings as a County Commissioner
