This whole TAD is a bunch of bull. We have been lied to again and again. None of our elected will talk about this issue which is up for a vote. They want us to give Land-Mar an undisclosed amount of money. They don't know how much, that will be decided later by the elected. So you tell me that the elected are not getting some kind of kick back. Our elected traveled to Atlanta to talk with the Land Mar folks. Who paid for it? Well of course we did. Why are they trying so hard to push this crap through? We don't want it and yet they force it down our throats. Remember last year the school board voted on this and they voted to approve it. I bet if you ask a member they could not tell you anymore about it then I did. They are just as clueless, But voted for it anyway. (most current members were not there) I believe Tricia Smith did not vote because she stands to make a lot off the deal as well. Her husband is the Land-Mar attorney. Yes Mr. Charlie Smith is the attorney for Land-Mar, The same Mr. Smith that passed the bill allowing Sheriff Deputies to be County Commissioners. Now do you still trust these people.
I CALL FOR THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CANCEL THE UPCOMING VOTE.
We the people can not afford it. We have allowed the commission and Sheriff to drain our own accounts and now we are to give 20 million plus to corporate welfare.
