After questioning some of the other parents I found out that this guy lives in Red Bluff (the outskirts of Camden County). I have to pay $2.89 per gallon and drive my personal vehicle to commute my son.

Why do I have to provide this County employee with a vehicle, insurance, tag, gasoline and maintenace to commute his son?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24141781.post-79963749685777075372007-10-13T19:07:00.000-05:002007-10-13T19:07:00.000-05:00I have another pressing issue that you need to loo...I have another pressing issue that you need to look into. The City of St. Marys has scheduled a secret meeting at the PSA on October 16th. They are trying to go through the PSA to get a $40 million bond for water and sewer. They are going thru the PSA to avoid having a public hearing in St. Marys. This is the same tactic that the JDA has used on several occassions. The millions they have received via the PSA for water and sewer is unaccountable.

Bill Smith is not the only one misapproprating money in Camden County. If the elected officials of St. Marys will try this during an election season, just imagine whats going to happen if they are re-elected.

If the taxpayers cannot stop them from stealing, I say we all vote for H.B. 900 to take the money out of the local elected hands. This bill may not be the best. But based on what is happening now things can't get any worse.

I would rather not pay ad valorem taxes on my house (which will lower monthly payment about $500.00) and avoid paying ad valorem taxes on vehile (which will lower price of tag about $300.00).

So either the elected officials can get their act together or the people will vote for Glenn Richardson bill and against the money being collected locally. This is our only coarse of action. Otherwise they can continue to saddle us with bond payment after bond payment without any public hearings.

Remember folks the incumbents took this same attitude with the Landmar deal. They have proven to us time and time again that they cannot be TRUSTED. Pay close attention or we will have another Landmar situation on our hands. We pay for everything and the developers get everything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
